Workshops
Many of the workshops are sponsored through the Syracuse City Schools Teacher's Center. For the rest of the 2008 school year there will be 2 hour workshops at the Teachers Center to introduce teachers to this project. The dates for the workshops are 2/6, 3/26 and 5/7.

- Schoolyard Gardening Workshop
Learn how to set up an schoolyard garden and how you can use gardening to teach science, math and literacy.
Place: Solace Elementary
Time: March 14, 3:30-5:00pm
- Rock Stories Workshop
learn how to identify rocks in your schoolyard and local parks. Identifying rocks tells you about the geologic history of the rock and the area. We'll show you ways to integrate math and literacy into these "rock stories".
Place: Ed Smith School with walks to local green spaces
Time: April 4 at 3:30-5pm
