Welcome to the Urban Schoolyards website. You do not need to login to use the resources on this website. Just point and click. In the top left corner you will see links to science information on city parks, lessons that can be done in these parks and schoolyards, as well as other resources for earth science and environmental education.
The goal of our project is to engage teachers and students in using their schoolyards and local parks as field sites for science lessons. These lessons are inquiry-oriented and use an earth systems approach.
Teachers can become involved in this project by attending workshops. Click on the links above to find out about future workshops.
